The Kittens – Ain't no More Room - Chess
The Kittens bring you a monster northern soul 45 with this one. Great female vocals on a strong backing ensemble, a great dancer!

Wendy Rene – BarB-Q - Stax
This has to be one of the best 45's to ever come out on Stax. Wendy singing about smellin' somethin' in the air makes you yearn for that summertime BBQ out at the local park. Poppy with a great bass line, makes you wanna clap your hands!

Joe Bataan – Gypsy Woman - Fania
One of the first wildly popular Latin Boogaloo tracks of Restless! Soul Nights. The keys in the beginning start you into a groove that blasts you right into the mood. Joe’s voice in unmistakable and smooth, there are several breaks that really make you feel the soul of this tune. But at the end, he kills it with that trademark boogaloo soul clap. Essential Bataan track.

Bobby Sheen – Something New To Do - WB
I wonder how many babies were made to this track in the 70’s. Bobby’s voice is perfect on this one. The melody to this tune takes you right back to the day, and the chorus is so memorable it’ll keep you singing it all night long. A Restless! And Revival staple closer.

Chris Calloway -You're Something Else- Cub
Smokin' hot northern by the little known Chris Calloway. Very uptempo, soulful vocals, perfect for the dancefloor! Featured on the Restless! 3 year anniversary mix in 2007.
